Motorola Razr 2 v8
motorola Razr2 v8 , pretty long name , i guess it overruns the length of its features :)
this phone is a sequel to very popular , shiny/glossy motorola v3i. there is no prize for guessing that it is shiny/glossy too. i can only hope that this phone wouldnt be available in 'pink' colour , like the v3i, which actually sold well(God knows how)

It is going to be such a small review...

I never expect factures from motorola and it never disappoints me, so once again no useful feature to talk about. some people expected animated menu(guys how could you?) well the menu icons still look 'good' old , outdated. This time motorola has got a surprise for you, yes a half assed touch-screen implementation. imagine using the 'linux' with touch-screen... 'horrified already'? now pay for that feature by getting a Razr2. The user interface is simply annoying. The 2 mega-pixel camera is no good, when compared to nokia6233. camera works well only in broad daylight and should be able to hold the phone steady like a trained sniper. Well there aren't much features to talk about but one thing worth mentioning is that GPRS really works this time, but to balance the things moto razr still has 'non-tactile' cheap calculator type keys :)
this phone has a wi-fi port, but it means that i can browse the net(only xhtml) at indoor places. why would anyone use this phone for browsing while at home? apart from that i want to thank motorola for not including 3G technology, no third party applications and for the inconvenience caused by not including extendable memory card slot
still wondering why motorola is down to number three with just 13 percent of the total market share(current market leader is nokia, with 41percent of the global market share)
If you liked the design of Razr2 then get an N76 to use the thousands of free java and sis apps supported by nokia...
