To be very honest I admit that the iPhone looks good. It has top quality glass surface on display (which also serves as the input device). Casing has nice matt finish and a well placed stainless steel rim. It has a volume rocker, a mute switch and one button on the front. This button brings the menu screen. A sleep/wake up toggle key is the only physical button on this phone. Also there is an earpiece slot on the top and a 2Mega-Pixel camera at the posterior. The actual size of the iPhone is 115×61×11.6 mm... Yes it is not that small (models holding the iPhone in advertisements were actually mutants. This could be the case because apple denied the use of PhotoShop to digitally alter images in the ad.).
One thing worth mentioning here is that the iPhone has three sensors. 1. An accelerometer that detects rotation of the phone from landscape to portrait (and vice-versa). 2. A light sensor that can be used to automatically dim and brighten the LCD's backlight. 3) A proximity sensor that decides when to put the keys on hold and turn of the backlight…
iPhone is the only phone in the market which runs on tweaked (Watered down) version of Mac OS X (Other popular phone OSs are Symbian and Windows). Apple has always been touting OS X as virus proof, but then how many people use Mac? Why would anyone write a virus just for a bunch of morons who consider Macworld as a part of their family?
On activation OS X takes about 20 seconds to show up the main screen, which is 10 seconds quicker than my pc. Menu has 16 icons, each of them having quite different interface than any other cell phone offers, so I’m putting my great efforts to explain it for readers…
